Hand-cut, hand sewn flower pistil and insects ( lady bug, butterfly, Hercules beetle, cicada and slug), on oil painted canvas. Why Flower Bones? This is my answer to grief. This loss of my beloved pets interred below bring life to the insects and flower bones above, hence the cycle of life. This brings me understanding and consolation.
