My creation was really the creation of mom named Echo, a 4 yr old cheetah and 4 yr old dad, Scott, the parents of 4 baby cheetahs born at the Smithsonian National Zoo Institute April 2020. The family via the zoo webcam provided me many moments to relish the joy of life and find inspiration for art. Cheetahs are hand cut, hand sewn fabric on hand painted canvas depicting the neighborhood street on Connecticut Ave. NW. 24” x 20”
